On Monday’s live episode of The Starters, the guys discuss their NBA weekend winners (‘Melo, Terrence Ross, Chandler Parsons) and losers (the Pistons, Cavs, Wizards).

All that, plus Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce’s return to Boston, Grammy-inspired kicks, and Justin Bieber’s killer crossovers.

how has Parsons been around longer than Hayward? he was drafted in ’11 and Hayward was drafted ’10.

Look at the Celtics retired jerseys already.. they have tons of role players retired. KG was much more than a role player, So obviously they’d retire KG’s number, KG changed the whole culture of that team when he arrived. Yeah, Pierce was the Finals MVP, but KG was the heart of that championship team.

They might not retire Ray Allen’s number, they definitely will retire KG’s. Obviously Pierce’s as well. As long as Rondo doesn’t leave on bad terms, they’ll retire his number, too.
